Official Investigations & Security Serviuces, Inc. re-opens on Thursday, September 18 after hurricane force winds hit Cincinnati, OH.


Official Investigations & Security Services, Inc. is scheduled to re-open at 9am on Thursday, September 18, 2008, after hurricane-force winds hit Cincinnati, Ohio on Sunday, September 14th.

There was extensive damage to the electrical wiring, telephone poles, and power substation that served the office. At one time, 1,000,000 homes and businesses were without power after the 90mph winds hit the tri-state area. As of midnight, there were about 300,000 people still without electricity in the area.

Duke Energy was able to repair and restore power to the office located at 3291 N Bend Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45239 on the evening of Wednesday, September 17th.

President Michael Rolfes donates 41 hours of service to La Salle HS Key Club and Cheviot-Westwood Kiwanis


Michael P Rolfes, CEO & Chief Investigator of Official Investigations & Security Services, Inc., donated 41 hours of his time in community service to the La Salle HS Key Club and Cheviot-Westwood Kiwanis at the Harvest Home Fair the weekend of September 4-7, 2008.

Mr. Rolfes, a 1988 graduate of La Salle HS and former Key Club member, has worked at the Harvest Home Fair www.harvesthomefair.com since he was a freshman in HS. He has been a member of the Cheviot-Westwood Kiwanis since 2001.

This was his 25th year of working at the fair. He has only missed 3 days in 25 years - 1 day due to illness and 2 days due to being in an out of town wedding.

Mr. Rolfes, as a Key Club member, worked in the Coke booths, serving 12 oz Cokes into cups. Now Mr. Rolfes supervises approximately 300 high school students, who sell 20 oz plastic bottles of Coca Cola and Tradewinds iced tea, from La Salle and Mercy HS Key Clubs over the 4 days of the fair.

Planning has already began and Mr. Rolfes is looking forward to the 2009 Harvest Home Fair.

Official Investigations & Security Services, Inc. is an authorized National Webcheck provider and was able to submit the fingerprints of individuals to BCI and FBI to meet the statutory requirements of all schools.

The cost for a BCI & FBI background check is $61 and the turnaround is 3 minutes to 3 days depending on the clarity of the individual's prints.
