Michael P Rolfes, CEO, donates his time to Kiwanis



Michael P Rolfes, CEO, of Official Investigations & Security Services, Inc. is the Vice-President and President-Designate of the Cheviot-Westwood Kiwanis Club located in Cincinnati, OH.  He will assume the Presidency on October 1, 2011.

This weekend, Michael is volunteering at his 28th consecutive Harvest Home Fair and is supervising approximately 300 Key Club members from La Salle HS and Mother of Mercy HS.  Over the next 3.5 days, Michael will donate 42 hours to the Kiwanis club's annual fundraiser.

Official Investigations & Security Services, Inc. CEO, Michael Rolfes, and 3 fellow Kiwanians save man's life in Geneva, Switzerland






Official Investigations & Security Services, Inc. CEO, Michael P Rolfes, along with 3 other Kiwanian's saved the life of a Ukrainian man while in they were in Geneva, Switzerland 2 weeks ago for the Kiwanis International Convention. Michael P Rolfes is a licensed First Responder (Emergency Medical Responder) in the states of Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky and is a member of the Hamilton Co Fair VFD and the Hamilton County 4H Community EMS agency in SW Ohio. In addition, he is a certified First Aid, CPR, and AED instructor with the National Safety Council.

Oleg suffered a gran mal seizure and went into respiratory arrest. Fellow Kiwanian's, Mary Gant and Peggy Kieffer, were the first people to respond to him. We got him rolled into the recovery position after opening his airway and maintaining his C-spine. A 4 Kiwanian was not identified as she left the scene before we could get her name.

Oleg was transported to a local hospital for evaluation of the seizure and the head injury that he sustained in the fall.

Michael P Rolfes is the current Vice-President/President-Elect of the Cheviot Westwood Kiwanis Club of Cincinnati, OH.

Official Investigations & Security Services Inc's CEO donates 42.5 hours of service




Michael P Rolfes, CEO of Official Investigations & Security Services, Inc. donated 42.5 hours to the Cheviot-Westwood Kiwanis Club from Thursday, September 10, til Sunday, September 13, 2009.

The Harvest Home Fair is held annually in Cheviot, Ohio (a suburb of Cincinnati) as the main fundraiser for the Cheviot-Westwood Kiwanis Club.

Having completed his 26th consecutive year of volunteering at the Fair, Michael Rolfes has donated in excess of 1,000 hours by supervising the La Salle and Mercy High School Key Clubs. Michael is a former La Salle HS Key Club member in Cincinnati, OH.

To recover from the long hours, Michael traditionally takes the Monday after the fair off to sleep and relax.

President Michael Rolfes donates 41 hours of service to La Salle HS Key Club and Cheviot-Westwood Kiwanis


Michael P Rolfes, CEO & Chief Investigator of Official Investigations & Security Services, Inc., donated 41 hours of his time in community service to the La Salle HS Key Club and Cheviot-Westwood Kiwanis at the Harvest Home Fair the weekend of September 4-7, 2008.

Mr. Rolfes, a 1988 graduate of La Salle HS and former Key Club member, has worked at the Harvest Home Fair www.harvesthomefair.com since he was a freshman in HS. He has been a member of the Cheviot-Westwood Kiwanis since 2001.

This was his 25th year of working at the fair. He has only missed 3 days in 25 years - 1 day due to illness and 2 days due to being in an out of town wedding.

Mr. Rolfes, as a Key Club member, worked in the Coke booths, serving 12 oz Cokes into cups. Now Mr. Rolfes supervises approximately 300 high school students, who sell 20 oz plastic bottles of Coca Cola and Tradewinds iced tea, from La Salle and Mercy HS Key Clubs over the 4 days of the fair.

Planning has already began and Mr. Rolfes is looking forward to the 2009 Harvest Home Fair.
