Update: Thelma Ann (Scott) O'Connor has been located


Official Investigations & Security Services, Inc.
is sad to announce that we have determined that Thelma Ann Scott, most recently known as Thelma Ann O'Connor, passed away in January 2010 at the age of 73.  It was also determined that her mother, Ruth E Scott, passed away in 2008.

I am glad to report however, that I have located 7 aunts and uncles and 2 step-brother's of my client.  The step-brother's spoke to each other on the phone for the first time tonight.

THE FATHER WAS LISTED ON THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE BUT HE IS DECEASED.

Michael P Rolfes, CEO, donates his time to Kiwanis



Michael P Rolfes, CEO, of Official Investigations & Security Services, Inc. is the Vice-President and President-Designate of the Cheviot-Westwood Kiwanis Club located in Cincinnati, OH.  He will assume the Presidency on October 1, 2011.

This weekend, Michael is volunteering at his 28th consecutive Harvest Home Fair and is supervising approximately 300 Key Club members from La Salle HS and Mother of Mercy HS.  Over the next 3.5 days, Michael will donate 42 hours to the Kiwanis club's annual fundraiser.

Both measures are part of a package of legislation that would give authorities more power to investigate and punish individuals involved in mortgage fraud.

Employee Robert Hughes aids citizen in distress


Security officer Robert Hughes aided a young, teenaged lady whose vehicle broke down on Colerain Ave in Mt Airy. She was scared because all of her co-worker's had left her place of employment and her car battery was dead.

She was able to contact her father via cell phone and Officer Hughes remained with her until he arrived. He had just completed his vacation property check rounds in the area.

Official Investigations & Security Services, Inc. CEO, Michael Rolfes, and 3 fellow Kiwanians save man's life in Geneva, Switzerland






Official Investigations & Security Services, Inc. CEO, Michael P Rolfes, along with 3 other Kiwanian's saved the life of a Ukrainian man while in they were in Geneva, Switzerland 2 weeks ago for the Kiwanis International Convention. Michael P Rolfes is a licensed First Responder (Emergency Medical Responder) in the states of Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky and is a member of the Hamilton Co Fair VFD and the Hamilton County 4H Community EMS agency in SW Ohio. In addition, he is a certified First Aid, CPR, and AED instructor with the National Safety Council.

Oleg suffered a gran mal seizure and went into respiratory arrest. Fellow Kiwanian's, Mary Gant and Peggy Kieffer, were the first people to respond to him. We got him rolled into the recovery position after opening his airway and maintaining his C-spine. A 4 Kiwanian was not identified as she left the scene before we could get her name.

Oleg was transported to a local hospital for evaluation of the seizure and the head injury that he sustained in the fall.

Michael P Rolfes is the current Vice-President/President-Elect of the Cheviot Westwood Kiwanis Club of Cincinnati, OH.

SGT. DULLE WAS STRUCK AND KILLED WHILE DEPLOYING STOP STICKS ON TUESDAY, MAY 10, 2011.



THE SUBJECT RESPONSIBLE FOR SGT. DULLE'S DEATH IS IN THE CUSTODY OF THE WARREN CO SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT.  HE IS BEING HELD ON $2,000,000 BOND.

OF WESLEY "WES" E WARD, MID-WEST TECHNICAL SCHOOLS, INC.

WE SENT OUR EMPLOYEES STARTING IN 1998 TO WES FOR THEIR OPOTA FIREARMS TRAINING & CERTIFICATION.
CEO, MICHAEL ROLFES, LAST QUALIFIED WITH WES IN JANUARY 2011 ON A FRIGID SATURDAY MORNING.  THE TEMPERATURE WHEN WE STARTED WAS -17F.  WE COULDN'T FEEL OUR FINGERS, SO WE HAD TO SHOOT A SKILL, WARM UP FOR 20 MINUTES, THEN SHOOT THE NEXT SKILL, REPEATING THOSE STEPS UNTIL WE WERE FINISHED.

WES WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.  I HOPE THAT SOMEONE WILL CONTINUE MID-WEST TECHNICAL SCHOOLS IN WES' MEMORY.

Wesley Eugene Ward, of Huber Heights, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Kettering Medical Center. Wesley was born in Middleport, OH to Wesley F. Ward and Huldah Ruth Ward. Wesley is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Wilma Price Ward, his son Richard (Marianne) of Durham, NC, daughter Cathy (Gary) Moorman of Mason, OH and son Gary (fiancée Amy) of Troy, OH; grandchildren Chad Ward, Corey (Jenny) Ward, Chris Bush, Nichole Bush, Jason (Michelle) Moorman, James (Amber) Moorman and great grandchildren Brinley, Trevor, Grant, Cole, Savanah and Caleb; brothers Charles David (Carol) of Eustis, FL, Keith (Connie) of LaGrange, KY and Dale (Susan) of Orlando, FL; sisters Charlene (Bill) Darst of Cheshire, OH, Rosanna (Chuck) Simmons of Gallipolis, OH, and Karen (Tom) Spiess of Marysville, CA and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving son Wesley Edward and sister Geraldine Ward (Lowell) Swisher. Wesley was a faithful member of The Huber Heights Church of God. He served in many capacities during his 47 years of membership for United Commercial Travelers (UCT), including Senior Counselor of Gem City Council #3 and Grand Counselor for the State of Ohio. He was treasurer for the AMOB. Wesley worked as a Deputy Sheriff for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department and as a Patrolman for the Wayne Township Police Department. Retired from National Cash Register, Dayton, OH, Wesley was the CEO and School Commander for Mid-West Technical Schools, Inc. established in July 1990. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Blessing Funeral Home, 11900 N. Dixie Drive, Tipp City with a UCT Necrology Ceremony at 6:45 pm. Funeral Services, conducted by Pastor Roger Hamilton and Associate Pastor Howard Briggs of the Huber Heights Church of God, will be held Monday, April 18, 2011 at 12:00 pm at Blessing Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made payable to Gem City UCT Council #3, and sent to 806 Westhafer Road, Vandalia OH 45377 to support special events for intellectually disabled persons. Our family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Dr. Young, Dr. Polestra, Dr. Grigg and the SICU Staff at Kettering Medical Center. I am attempting to locate KATHLEEN DIANNE VERONICA SMITH CAMPBELL whose approximate age is 60 from Cincinnati, OH.  

She was in a relationship with Albertino Da Encarnacao Dias of Brazil.

Kathleen was in the Los Angeles, CA area in 1975. She had a daughter and son that she left in the custody of her parents, who lived in Cincinnati, at the time. She subsequently got pregnant while in California and returned to Cincinnati. She gave birth to a girl in June or July 1976.

Her father was a blind, professional pianist in the 1970's.
